I seem to run into a problem when trying to host an internet game. (Civ 4 Complete edition by the way)
I start a new game, it enters into the staging room, and as soon as my name appears on the player list, I get:
"Staging Room Error: An error has occured with the staging room on the server"
And it kicks me back to the multi-player lobby. I can join games just fine, and I can host other kinds of multi-player games (IP, LAN, etc). I've tried re-installing the 3.17 patch and the game itself, but I'm still getting the same error. I'm running Vista, but it doesn't seem like that is the problem.
I've googled the problem, but even google turned up nothing. Any ideas?
