  • Now what are the chances that we just continue playing and have Korea kill that GE? Wouldn't that fix the Cyber move
Korea might take the GE hostage for purposes of future negotiations if the turn is reloaded.

If it is not reloaded, Maya would kill the escape vessel unless somehow Greece's galleon beats my Frigate.

But beyond that, Korea didn't even play turn 1640 because of the nonsense transpiring. So not reloading would unfortunately not solve the problem.

I think we need someone whose job it is to write rules that aren't challenged.
They challenge them, but they don't win.

    • Capo are you ok with killing the GE and continuing? Of course we all await Ozzy's verdict. Still the turn is moving as i speak, so i hate to see you miss a turn.

Maya you are wrong Korea was in the game during turn 1640 for about 15 mins, so i think he moved.

        • PLEASE DO NOT RELOAD.

Those of us who have had nothing to do with either of these disputes have already suffered enough.

          • ff: capo lost nothing.
I lose my GE and thus my chance on a GA and my chance to fight back against 2 invading armies who invade me with the armies they borrowed from me so that I Have no defence. That s all.

            • Now I am confused as well:

Are you at war with Sparta and if so where is your stories building up to this?

              • Dude, why wasn't the game paused for this? I just checked it and its still going. I didn't play my turn because of this crap, which was a double move on cyber's part so the game needs to be reloaded anyway.

                • I wasn't in for that. I logged in prior to 1640 to see if Cyber was in and waiting and he was. I left the game around 10 to fifteen minutes before it was supposed to start after trying to convince him not to and to pause the game so we can figure this out, which he refused multiple times. I then told him I am not going to "race" him to it like children and we should handle it before ruining the game, again he declined. So all of this could easily have been avoided. I did go back to check if he actually did what he said he would do (so I didn't waste time with arguing over nothing) and he did. I did not move any units and in fact stated a few times in this thread I would not continue playing.

It is completely unbelievable to me that you guys would even CONSIDER continuing when we are only reloading ONE TURN. You act like all of this crap happened that you can't emulate or how much things have changed when in actuality nothing has changed. One turn went by. Stop your whining becuse if this happened to any of you you'd be just as angry about this as I am right now. And then you guys ask me what I have lost?

I'll tell you what I have lost; respect for Cybershy. How's that?

Greece has been writing them for me. For the last 10-15 turns now I have been getting multiple threats and ultimatums from him. If he wants to boss around his neighbors, he should be prepared for them to call his bluff.

I don't think the tension between our nations is any secret. It all started when he effectively alienated me from half the world by creating and pushing the AET.

As of 1645 we are not at war yet. The turn is probably going to be reloaded back to 1630 or 1635, which will give me a few turns to make some interesting story posts explaining the war, although frankly, Greece has been doing most of the explaining himself.

                    • capo why reload? I have kept my GE in position to wait for the outcome of this debate.

We have never reloaded b/c of this but always tried to find a solution. It is your mistake that you did not play.

                      • I second Rome - if we re-load then I(Russia) potentially lose more than Korea, Maya and Sparta! This is no different from re-loading an SP turn because you didn't like the combat result! It is futile and Capo, please believe me when I say, my stance is not based upon Cyber boring me into submission. I do believe however, that I may well have made a mistake in joining this game in the first place.

The game should be reloaded at 1640. Doing anything else would be wholly unfair becuase it would ruin all of my strategy. Clearly I am not in violation of any rule, whereas Cyber is and not only is he in violation of a rule, but he is in violation of his own rule. Further, not only is he in violation of his own rule but he is in violation of his own rule willfully and knowing. Not only did he willfully and knowlingly violate his own rule, but he was prewarned just minutes before doing so (Japan was there and saw it) and asked to at least pause the game to avoid this mess. This is entirely his fault. It should be reloaded to 1640 ad and we should make our turns in the proper order (i.e. first Korea and then Greece). That is the right thing to do and the only fair way to end this. I don't think we need a damn trio of "impartial observers" to tell us what happened.

                          • This is not even close to the same thing as reloading a game because of a combat outcome. This is part of the rules, and I lost a turn because of it too (why should I play when I knew someone violated the rules which would constitute a reload?). And I still fail to see what exactly anyone lost by reloading and playing your turn the exact same way (as Maya requested). That's ridiculous. How could reloading one turn possibly ruin anything?

                            • Capo, no one forced you to throw a tantrum and refuse to take your turn. Regardless of how this thing is decided (and whether or not there was a double turn by each of you) I'm not going to support reloading because you wanted to make a point by refusing to play your turn. That was entirely your decision and you should entirely suffer the consequences for such a dumb decision.

IF we reload it'll be to correct one or both double-moves. So just play on until a decision is reached.

Why does everyone have to make this far more complicated than they need to be? Just relax, play, and wait for the decision.

                              • maya declaring war on me is totally legit story wise. Also kudo's to him for not pulling a disputed double move at the start of this turn.

I think him asking to defend his coast with my frigates as part of a peace deal wile in secret moving his invasion fleet to my now undefended coast while korea did more or less the same was a bit cheap though.
