i have a question. How can you tell how big another person's army is?

Jap, go to demo... select the power graph. If you are spying on somene you can tell if you have a smaller or larger army than them.

Also you can look at demographics and see where your soldiers rate to the rest of the world. Usually you will be given a rank in our case between 1-18.

Also, you can see a list of all units that are currently visible to you (and who they belong to) on the Military advisor screen. This is limited to the squares that are visible to you, but that can be improved a number of ways, including through espionage
