Sorry for lack of posts. Apparently my account is not set to receive notification when new threads are posted and I've been so busy that I haven't had time to remember to check back.
I've read all the threads to catch back up and I'm a little confused as to what's going on in relation to picking leaders. Where do I fit in here. As yo options for the game, I don't have a preference. The more random, the better I say.
I have played many diplomacy type games, so I expect this is no different. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that we are all playing Civ with an added layer of role-playing and interaction not found in most Civ games. I like a game that's not kill or be killed. It fits my play style very nicely.
Do we have an estimated start to the game? I know that I will be out of town for the last week of May. I hate to ask for a sub so early in the game, especially at such a crucial time as the beginning.Comment

keep checking the page I have sent to all and pick your civ as soon as it is your turn. (the nr before yours has 'done' behind it.)
I will add leaders soon. Don't wait for that. You can select them later.

Another idea (and lots of work for Cyber)
How about Cyber creates a web database whereby we nominate key timeslots when we can play for an hour or two.
Thee might be a slot where we all line up!! Thank god for databases... and Cyber who will knock this idea on the head...
