  • So what's with this War Weariness Thing?

Anyone understand the mechanics of War Weariness?
Here's as much as I have assumed. War Weariness is cumulative with interceding periods of peace causing some relief and decrease. I believe War Weariness to be an independent function on a nation by nation basis. That is that when I conclude a long standing war I get some relief even tho I continue that war with a country that joined the war later.

War itself seems to bring out cultural and religious unhappiness that is dormant in peacetime.

So much for the experience. Anyone know the mechanics of it? IS War Wearniess for being attacked less than attacking (passive rather than active war)?

    Let's talk about your experience.

War weariness decreases for each turn of peace by a little bit, something like 1 point plus 1% or something per turn. The exact mechanics have been posted elsewhere, I don't recall of them exactly.
