Civilization 4 multiplayers games

I just got Civilization 4 and looking to play some online games.

I use to play Civ 2 Gold multiplayer - can u people remember back then.

anyways

I would like to starting playing online again

Isn't Civ 4 the best yet - i'm really impressed with it

I also have warlords

I guess the other thing is do i have to download any patches for online

What version do u guys use

Hey,

I would love to play some multiplayer games.

I can't seem to access any games via the internet option in the game itself. It just returns me to the same screen, but maybe it will work for IP connections or anything else.

I'm a starting player too. New to Civ4. I used to hate the Civilization series because they were turn-based but I'm loving Civ4. I've also got the Warlords expansion pack.

it works well to have icq or MSN Messenger

easier to pass the ip address to u or other players

i'm usually online at about this time

Great, when I get home I'll add you and send you my number. It's great to have for organizing, since you can tell if people are around, since it's not uncommon that people's plans change.

I'm central time and a lot of people that we play with are either central or pacific, so playing windows should be pretty compatiable

Bah, my timezone is CET (GMT+1) heheh. Silly Europe... oh well. Our daytimes overlap for a good few hours so I'll add you anyway. I don't have ICQ onfortunately, I hate the program, but I do have MSN.

CIV is up to 1.61 and WW is at 2.0.

The fastest way to move a game seems to be the PitBoss.

Due to time I tend to use email and PMs most and mIRC last.
