Please delete all posts that give people advice on how to cheat. The last thing we need to happen is that you can only play in a group of 10 or 12 people that you trust. Start saving 3 times a turn and meticulously check them.

I like the innocence of joining a game and thinking it is straight.

Better put it in one nice post and top the thread so you at least have a level playing field. Remember how 'some' people used to win most of their games becouse they knew exploits other people didnt in civ2?

Well I'm a former Civ2MGE player as well, played on Civleague/Gameleague and the MS Gaming Zone at the time. I'm not sure if we'll see a 2x2x mod, but there is a big push for a "QuickCiv" mod, with increased food and production, similar to that scenario in Civ3.
