Multiplayer Newbie: FAQs

Hi, I am new to CIV4 MP and wanted to ask some quick but important questions:

1) Can I as a host automatically save and force an exit of the multiplayer game? Or is the mutliplayer saving screen (the VOTE for) coming only automatically every..... rounds ?

2) I am host of a nice game but I could not enter the game details, cause I do not know the administrator password. As far as I know I left it open as I considered the first question when login to internet as a password to protect the game. Thus I only have a password to my civ but not the admin one ?

3) And last but not least, if some one exists is there a way to do it right. THe AI is taking over for him anyway, right? (Is the experience of the AI skill dependent on the difficult he chose when entering the game?)

Thus if I understand correctly I even can miss a session and the AI will play for me. Next time I enter I can use my password and continue?

WOULD be great I you CIV Pros could help me on those questions!

1) I don't understand what exactly you're asking. Host can't save and force an exit for everyone else. He can save and exit himself from a game menu (2nd player in the list will be a new host).
2) Well, passwords don't appear themselves from nothing. So i guess someone set it
3) If "Take Over AI" is checked then AI will play instead of a player that quitted the game but wasn't completely eliminated. That also erases a player's password for this civilization, if there was one. Game password will still be in place. You can hotjoin a game in progress and replace any AI, including the one that earlier replaced one of the players who quitted.
And last question, yes but you should use blank password instead of the one you set because your password will be reset.

MP tribe/CIV password: URGENT!!

I just tried to reenter our saved MP game, BUT I cannot access my own tribe/CIV also I am 100% sure about the password!

Can anybody else have changed the password?

It is strange anyways as I was HOST but could not enter the administration settings in game. Always had incorrect password, although i never set one??

AND I just checked that I CAN load the Initial_AutoSave of that MP game with my password. But each and every later saving does not allow this password anymore... HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE??? How can it have been changed`?!

PLEEEASE, anybody own help me how to enter my tribe/CIV again and continue our MP?
