The European Diplomacy Game

For those who havent read the other thread, this is a description of a Diplo-Game

Currently we have 4 players "guaranteed", Myself, Cybershy and The Capo and Ozzy. I also have 2-3 friends that have voiced interest.

Currently, I am working from Cybers timetable as he is the least available. (what are you doing all friday and saturday anyway )

Thus, the European Diplo-Game will start on Friday the 11th of February at 22:30 Central European Time.
(GMT +1, Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, Rome, Paris etc)

The game will end sometime around 2:00.

Game name: EuroDiplomacy.
Password: game

We will be playing a Standard size Terra Map, everything standard \ normal. Noble level. No AI civs. Marathon length.

Lets get this thing of the ground!

Well, knowing how things work we will probably start off just before 23:00 CET (GMT +1) also known as 22:00 GMT (for those who cant do the math )

I will play Bismarck of the Germans.

Cyber, could you get your brother to post a post with what civ he wants and such? I'll do my best with my friends.

My brother most probably won't be able to play.
He's away once in every two weeks on friday evening and can't promise to be home before 23.00 CET.

This is pointless.

Look guys, its not going to be difficult, I just didn't want to confirm any times because we had a lot of new posters/players and I didn't want them to become discouraged because we were simply telling them they couldn't play.

We need the extra pool of players, look. Ozzy can play at that time, I can play at that time and apparently the two of you can play at that time.

Just so you know, we don't really use GMT in the United States so I am sure there has been confusion on the part of some people. What you guys are suggesting is a time of 22:00 GMT, which in the Eastern part of the US is 5:00 pm. If we play for three hours it is 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

The more people involved in the planning the better, I just think we have a better chance getting a game going if we include everyone. So c'mon, stick around I assure you we'll be playing on Friday.

I was about to post the same thread, but I wanted to ommit the 'euro' word and just put GMT and EST times in the thread title.

Perhaps LzPrst can change this?

A new thread is a good thing. The old thread was too big and new users would never dive into that mess.

Unfortunately I cant change the thread name. But we can announce the game here as well as our other thread. we might be lucky and pick up some stragglers.

ATTENTION ALL DIPLOGAMERS!

If you happen to check this thread out, we are playing a diplogame on Friday the 10th of February. The game will occur at 23:00 GMT and progress for around three hours.

We need about two more players, so if you are interested pelase respond here. For all you Americans reading this too, 23:00 GMT here on Friday would be 6:00 pm eastern, 5:00 pm central, 4:00 pm mountain, and 3:00 pm Pacific.

So that is when we play.
