'Connecting to host' my ass

Anyone else having this trouble? I can NEVER connect to multiplayer games since the patch, and the only ones I have connected to are ones using the previous version.

I have been having contacting host and contact peer problems both before and after the patch. I can seem to host games fairly readily, and connecting by direct IP always seems to work.

I blame lamespy for these issues, it has never worked very well through the various firewalls in any of the games I have played that use it.

Yep - this has been my experience as well. Worked fine before the patch, after the patch can't connect even by direct IP

Forward port 2056 UDP and TCP and it should work
