Wonder movies not in MP?

Hi there,

Having never played any preivous Civs over multiplayer, I started up a game with a friend of mine who had never played any Civ before (and was rapidly addicted) but I was disappointed to see that there were no wonder movies, which is such a hallmark of the series.

Is it possible to enable wonder movies in MP?

Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible. It would be inconvenient for every player who was not seeing the wonder movie to wait, or very unfair for the player who WAS seeing the wonder movie to come back and discover all the moves against him that have already been made, or that the turn timer has run waaaaay down.

Oh, there's no doubt in my mind that you'd want them turned off most of the time, but in this case I'm going over to help the other player every other turn, the computers are in the same room (so we both hear the 'You've researched ' when either of us does, and there are no turn timers - so I wouldn't argue for a moment that this would be disabled by default. It'd just be nice to be able to turn it back on!

Yes, I too was rather disappointed that the Wonder Movies do not play in my LAN games with my roommate.
