Me and my buddy are going to host a large 8-10 player MP game, and we were wondering if there was any way to set up a server so the game didn't bog down. Haven't really seen anything about this, so I doubt it's possible, but any help or other suggestions would be great.

Sorry CIV like it's predessors is a peer to peer game, so there are no servers, the good side of this is that you don't have to worry about busy or overloaded servers but the bad side is that the weakest/slowest player drags the whole game down.

My suggestion is to do what the rest of us do and only play with people who have newish computers and fast connections. One bad apple can lag a whole game.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.Comment
