How to use Earth map in MP?

Anyone know how to use the Earth map (or any customized map) for MP games? I only get the options for the random ones. Thanks.

Click 'New Scenario' rather than 'New Game' when in the lobby.

Hmm...that seems to work for IP games. The MP game type I'm wanting to play is Hotseat and I can not find a button to say load scenario.

That map is very, very large for MP. Just to let you know.

I have asked the same question in different forums - but haven't got an answer.

Seems like we're the only ones caring about custom maps in hotseat modes...

I tried to get it somehow working over the last two days - but believe me : there is no possibility to use custom maps in a hotseat game.
I guess we'll have to wait for a patch or expansion...

i was just going to post the exact same problem....!?!

y can u custom in other MP but not hot seat?

would it be possible to load a different type of multiplayer game in hot seat mode?? (i.e. start it as direct IP then load as hot seat)
- might give it a go now!!!

Tell me if it worked - I desperately want to play on a world map in hotseat...

Agreed. I'm trying to find/make a smaller world map that should be comfortable for 7 players or so. I'll post here when I come up with something.
