What do you miss about Civ3?

Now that you are playing this fancy new game what do you miss about Civ3?

I haven't installed my game yet, a little computer problem. I expect I would miss the English Man of War (but only on archipelago maps)and probably not much else, if anything.

I still miss the clarity of the Civ2 graphics.

I'm gonna miss agonising over the inefficiencies of 6, 8 or 9 shield cities building 20 shield units.

I'll also miss AI Wonder Cascades, the inevitability of the ToE-Hoover two-step, drunk barbarians and AI demands for 23 gold.

OTOH, I might not miss anything at all if my ATI card is in the 'rebel faction' that will only let me play C3! I'll find out today.
