It has been a while since a AU for civ4 came out, any chance of a revival? Maybe something for experienced players? I would be interested in an "Beating Emperor level" special.

A revival - why not. The only problem is that I am still busy with restoring this site so I don't have time to organize it. So I need somebody to do it.Originally posted by LzPrst View PostIt has been a while since a AU for civ4 came out, any chance of a revival? Maybe something for experienced players? The tasks would be:
Create the game.
Post a new thread about it in this forum.
Top that thread.
Promote the first post of that thread to a news item.
And spread the word on other civilization sites on the net like 2k games or civforum.de or whatever.
And of course repeat that for a while, so that we can reestablish this tradition here.
So do you wanna help with that?

Ok, here is what I am thinking for the game:
Standard size
Normal speed
Fractal Map
Emperor Difficulty
Aggressive AI
No tech Brokering
All victory conditions on
Everything else normal
The idea would be something like "AU 303 - Emperor or Bust".
Should it be more specific? Also, I am thinking of choosing a civ with average traits/UU/UB. Let's say Babylon, Agg/Org?Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrst

If it were just another one then I think it would be fine, but you wanna revive the thing. So you need a news item explaining what the thing is about. So yes indeed some more specific, but I guess not so much about the game itself but about the AU for civ4 thing itself. You can of course use the FAQ in this forum to get some ideas.Originally posted by LzPrst View PostOk, here is what I am thinking for the game:
