I cracked my CivIV CD a couple years ago, but I've been playing Civ V, so I didn't worry too much about it. Today, I decided that I really wanted to play CivIV, so I went out and bought CivIV The Complete Edition from Target. Installed it fresh. Whenever I try to launch the game, it gives me an error "Failed loading XML file xml/GlobalTypes.xml". When I click OK, it comes with another, and another, and another ... for longer than I care to keep clicking OK.
I don't know what the file structure is supposed to look like, but I cannot find a folder labeled XML anywhere int he installation directory. So my first guess is the files are actually missing. Of course, if that's the case, I'm kind of screwed since it's a NEW installation from a CD that I just bought. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA
