Beyond theSword and Vista

I have recently purchased Beyond the Sword and I am having difficulties with the game. 1) It does not appear to install the 3.18 patch, 2) there is no map scrolling, and 3) the animations are jerky. I have loaded DirectX 9 on the system although version 10 does appear to be still installed.

Suggestions, other than going back to XP

1) Upgrade to Windows 7

Vista will work since I've had two computers run it without a problem.
Make sure you do the install as an admin or using admin rights
