Civ IV Lead Artist talks about his favourite artwork

Steve Ogden, lead artist of Civilization IV, talks about some of his favourite civ4 artwork in a new article in Firaxis "Behind the scenes" series.
"It just said "Civ" to me – building something awesome that was going to last for ages." Ogden says about an image in the Pyramids wonder movie.

That frame of the Pyramids movie is nice, but I'd never be able to see it in the actual movie -everything is too fast. But then, I don't build the Pyramids in my game, it just makes no sense at all to me.

I think my favorite movies are the Statue of Zeus and the Great Lighthouse. Both are very atmospheric. The GL in Civ 4 doesn't beat the GL in Civ II, of course - now that was epic!
