Ice Attack = No Attack

So I just downloaded Dale's Combat Mod and decided to give it a whirl. My first game everything seemed to be going well until I tried to attack an enemy (a barbarian warrior). Instead of attacking, ice is placed under the warrior, with the original terrain still intact (grassland). Bombarding with archers and attacking with warriors and archers leads to the same effect.

I have not changed anything to my knowledge besides activating all of the features of the mod with a "0" in the GlobalDefinesAlt.xml file as directed.

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate any feedback. I've also attached the save game file in case anyone is interested. The warrior in question appears just below my capital.
