I was wondering - when switching BACK from "Free Religion" (no state religion) to another civic - is there a way to actually CHOOSE your state religion ? It seems I automatically get the first one that I founded (hinduism). BEFORE switching to free rel. in the first place I was in judaism - why am I not returned to judaism ? I've tried before launching the revolution and after but in both cases it doesn't work. I can switch the next turn, but then I lose a second turn to anarchy, which doesn't seem fair. IMO, after starting a revolution to switch back from free religion to something else (paganism, org. religion, theocracy, pacifism) I should be able to choose freely a state religion among those that qualify.

Religious anarchy cannot run in concurrance with political anarchy. It doesn't seem fair, but I have not been able to figure a way around it. You'd have to reprogram the revolution process to avoid this reality. No matter where you go, there you are. - Buckaroo Banzai

Civ playing is a way to deflect some of that pain into pixels. You can at least pretend you are in charge and know what's coming. Very unlike RL, no matter how high your rank or wealth. No matter where you go, there you are. - Buckaroo Banzai

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
