The major problem I have with using WB is:
Most people would continue to use it, revealing the world, removing the mystery of "what's out there," and reduce their enjoyment of the game. Do NOT go down this dark path!
Besides, I've used it rarely enough that I can't see how to do the investigations I want. (Where's that "sour grapes" smilie when you need it).
Sorinache, the reason I build all those espionage buildings (and even put some funding into espionage sometimes), is to see what various AI are up to. Like how many specialists are in that city or what they are spending funds on ... or even how much culture a city has (you would be well advised to also check your F8 for their culture victory status, just in case -- those AI culture vics are MOST shocking)!

But I checked the victory conditions screen at the end of the game and was impressed : this culturally voracious carthaginian city was indeed a monster : it had accumulated about 34 K culture points, second only to Hannibal's capital Carthagene (although it was his third or fourth city by founding order), which was more than my second city (York, with only about 27K) and sensibly more than the 22K of Canterbury (my fourth city if I remember well), the city whose land Hadrumetum was culture-grabbing.
