BTS: Road to War Crashing

Recently received Beyond the Sword and tried playing Road to War. I played as Germany and the game was worked. However, if I attempt to play as the Soviet Union, the game crashes as it tries to play the intro vid. Anyone else have this problem. Yes, I've re-installed to see if that worked, but it didn't. Would like to know if there's a fix or should I exchange my copy? ANy help would be appreciated.

What was the error message you got?
Was this the Mod that came with BTS or Dale's mod?

It was with RtW that came with BTS. I downloaded the ultimate version from Dale's site and encountered the same problem. I don't get an error message. As the scenario begin, using the Soviet Union, I get the text introduction and then the Road to War movie begins. At this point, the game crashes, repeating the same music note, and will either go back to Windows XP in safe mode(?) or go to Windows XP with the send an error report to MS prompt but will freeze up before I can do it. No problems occur when using the Germans. I have't tried the other countries nor the Soviet Union under the Hitler version of the scenario yet. I disabled movies in options and the scenario will start. However, I'd still like to know if I have a bad copy or not.

i get the same problem too when trying to play the British, not sure about the other countries as i havnt tried.

Hmm, didn't work for me.. although it sometimes crashes..
