Recently I bought "Civ IV Complete". This is the base game with the 2 addons on one single CD in German language. I tried to patch it with the official patch "beyond the sword 3.13" but a window pops up and tell me that bts is not installed. So I have to play bts unpatched which is annoying. Did anybody know a solution how to patch "Civ IV Complete"? Thanks in advance.

Well, patch to 3.17 instead
Either use the ingame patch download (which didn't work for me) or download here:
