I guess since I'm in my 50's by wife might be considered my nurse also.

We keep the computer in the same room as our 55" HD TV so my wife is usually parked in there. It works to my advantage because I may actually say something to her while i'm playing so it counts as together time.

Come on, it is called the FAMILY room.

      Same here.

She reads, I play Civ, children are asleep, quality time!

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

It's the way it should be.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

My wife has become a fan of Baba Yetu, as have I. the only other part of the game that interests her is the diplo screens "Why did he just clap? Can you make him do that again? Make him clap again"

well I checked, and for all the later eras it doesn't say industrialone, or whatever, it says "dvoraksnewworld", etc. So I'm guessing it just plays all the MP3's in the file for the era in sequence. I hope so, I'd hate to rename "Rhapsody in Blue" as "The Chairman Dances"

Anyway I will report back as I find out how it works. I've found a cute little midi of a Copeland piece, not sure if that will work.

It is an ugly and manual solution, but so far, it sounds like it would be simpler than hunting through the code.
                that worked
