  • Civilopedia animations

I've been playing CiV recently, after quite a long break.

I'm sure I remember the unit pictures in the Civilopedia being animated (units looking around, stretching, waving their weapons, etc), but they no longer are.

How can I turn these back on again?

I've looked through all the graphics options menus, but can't find anything relating to "civilopedia animations".

Or am I just imagining all this, and there never were any such animations?

Did you turn off animations for the rest of the game?

Animations is a choice on the graphics options tab you call up by hitting esc then clicking options.

The only animation option I can see there is for unit/improvement animations, which I already had turned on, and which doesn't affect the Civilopedia.
