  • Hmmm I dont get it...

I installed Civ 4, Civ 4: Warlords, and Civ 4: Beyond the sword. Now when I launch Beyond the Sword and do custom game, I pick the world to have a whole world game, then when I get to choose a civilization there is only 9 to choose from.

Egyptian, Indian, Chinese, Greek, Roman, Persian, Japanese, Germany, and Mongolian.

I thought with all these add ons you could have more civilizations like Koreans and stuff.

    Am I doing something wrong?

P.S. Again, I am trying to just do a whole world game, no scenarios.

Ahh, you picked a scenario (not just a custom game, but a particular map that has only 9 civs to choose from...) Custom game with normal maps can lead you to a normal game with any civ available, you just have to know which maps are normal all-civ maps (most of them). Big and Small, Continents, Pangaea ...

Fractal is good for the civs with sea-based UBs and UUs.
