Vista Trouble!

I just bought Civ IV today and I have Vista on my HP PC. Everything installed OK, but everytime I try to play the game, a window pops up that says "This program has compatibility issues" and tells me to go to the Firaxis website to look for downloads. I went there, but I don't see a Vista patch or anything like that anywhere.

I did skip that window and began to play the game, and everything looked ok until I tried to run the tutorial and it sent me back to the desktop. I tried it again, but this time I didn't do the tutorial, I jumped right into a game and it was working alright, but I have no clue how to play the game.

Is there something I can do to solve this problem? Thanks.

No, you don't ... it just patches to version 3.13.

just thought of something simple ; when you start the game , options , click check for new patch , reboot after that

I've been running it on 64bit Vista for almost a year now. Works best with 4gig of ram, it never slows down, even on huge.

I've been running CiV on Vista, two computers (laptop and desk)... Works fine on both.
