Is there any way to either prevent the tech advances from stopping the music? It's annoying, I like the music in this game.

Is there any way to remove Spock? I want my units to speak, I don't want Spock to speak.

Is there any way to import the units and civs from the expansions into vanilla Civ IV? I don't want to play Warlords because I think Great Generals are too game breaking, and I don't want to play BtS because there is just too much junk added in, including the Great Generals.

Go into Assets/Sounds/Tech and delete all the files there. I like my game much better now that I don't hear those blurbs everytime I research a new tech.

That was the most annoying one. It was neat the first dozen or so games I played, but it got old quick.

It is conceptually possible to import the units/civs, but it would require a lot of XML coding. You might check to see if there are any existing mods that do this.

I can just copy the soundtrack from the Civ directory play it in a separate program and turn off the in game music. Thank you Panag!

Granted, I might get ancient music in the modern era, it all sounds good and soothing though.
