  • What triggers the We Love The ___ Day?

And what are the benefits from it in BtS?

  • #2
Good question, I've been wondering this one too...
I remember those good days back in civII with WLTK day. I remember getting cities up to 30 before industrialization.

Yeah, that's true! It's not the same in Civ4 I know, but I haven't seen any effect either besides that I like to be loved of course

Cities of size 8 and higher which have no unhappy citizens and no food loss to health can enter "We Love the ____ Day!" from time to time.

The effect is that the city pays no maintenance for one turn.

        Or so I think

Aha, thanks Is it every turn with the smootchie-love or only the one that initiates it?

Ah, the unofficial one... well, you can't make an omelett without breaking eggs! I can try to pay some attention to this next time I see it happens. At least I know more about it now

I'm pretty sure that's what it says in the civilopedia... and it's every turn the WLT_D is in effect (not sure what "every turn with the smootchie-love or only the one that initiates it" translates to in English).

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Every turn that you get the message.
You don't get notification when the WTL_D ends.

                    1) The city must be size 7 or greater.
                    2) The city must not suffer unhealthless.
                    3) The city must not be unhappy.

                    Effects: Reduced city matainence.

With an organized trait, you can have several cities with 0.00 city matainence.

Oh, and yes, it can occur every, single turn that those required are met.
