  • Can you have multiple victories?

I still need to 'win' the game, but have some questions:

    - In Civ II, after reaching Alpha Centauri, you could play further. Is this also the case with Civ IV?

    - If yes, can you then get other victories, like owning the most landmass?

    - If yes again, will those victories be rewarded with an end-sequence and showing all the graphs?

You can play further, yes, identically to CivII. Further victories are not recorded.

The one thing I can add is that if you achieve domination victory the same turn as conquest victory, you'll be recorded as having a conquest victory.

In my case when the last civ capitulated to me it put me over the top for domination in addition to there no longer being any indepedent civs.

Some people (never me of course) restore their games and try for a different kind of win. It can be fun to try for a Cultural Victory late game when you haven't targeted it from early on.

I noticed it's much easier to get a culture victory in BtS as compared to the other versions. The culture producing corporations, in particular, helps things out immensely.

But doesn't it take like 20 turns before your newly conquered tiles counts towards your territory points (=dominitation)?

I think that is score, not domination.

Capitulation gives you something like half their territory immedately for purposes of domination.

I have a question related to the first one.
At the moment, in the Victories list, it says I need 38% landmass to win. But I have already 41% landmass. Do I have to wait til 2050 to get my victory?
And also, what if I have multiple victory conditions by then (like culture) what will be my real victory?

You also need X% of population.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to multiple o-----s. (something that women can experience that men usually don't)
