On Saturday I got to meet the great Sid Meir at the New York City Comic Con and he signed my copy of Civilization Chronicles, as well as a neat poster and my manual of Colonization.
I also told him to kindly make a Colonization 2.

To tell you guys the truth, I completely forgot about SMAC...I found out last minute that he was appearing and got my butt over there. I grabbed a few things really quickly, one of them happened to be the colonization manual.
After I left I was like......I should have brought my copy of SMAC!!!!

Col was such a fun game and was very different than Civ/SMAC... I'd honestly rather see it than SMAC 2, although both are high on my priority list

Ha, yeah, I took the little smiley face the wrong way, so I edited it. I don't think it was so much a roll of the eyes as it was geniune curiosity. I am wearing the exact same outfit too in that pic! LOL
No charge for the autographs. I simply had to enter into a permanent alliance.
He signed all three items very graciously. We even got a free poster of the Civilization Revolutions verson of Napoleon and he wrote on it "Get Civilized!"Comment
