I Think If We Get Enough Sigs We Can Influence God to Restart Game
WHY?
(As long as it's not because of some sports result ... most sports are like television, the opiate of the masses for the benefit of businessmen, shysters & most politicians.)
Lancer! Silly boy! Buy a Civ IV-compatible computer for your Oregon home as well!
And you call yourself a true civer....

I expect god will create a Pangea, warm, wet map that changes overtime into an achipelago and eventually a terra map!
wouldn't this be a nice feature in a next version? maps that change? not dramatic changes, and not like global warming, but something like a formation of a new island, or continents that lose land on one side and gain on the other. without destroing cities naturally, but a city could break loose from the mainland....

Well the game only covers 5000 years, and although there has been some minor changes in geography, nothing on the scale of a single CIV square.

The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Amzanig huh?...So with that said: if you can not read my post because of spelling, then who is really the stupid one?...
no, that would indeed be impossible within the timeframe of the game, but an event could do the job in this case and make a tile (dis)appear because of an eruption, landslide, earthquake, giant ants.
We in Holland have changed several tiles ourselves. (delta works, should've been a big wonder )
Not to mention that many lakes have come and gone.
As a matter of fact, yes, the climate changes over a period of 6000 years for sure. Not big sealines etc. but certainly on small scales. (forrests, jungles, lakes, etc.)
The north pole and south pole ice masses could increase and decrease as well! Deserts can expand and decrease as well.

I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
