Have many others been playing this scenario? I've been getting into it recently, and as far as I am concerned - its amazing.
In fact, it does what I have always believed Civ itself should do. You have objectives and victory conditions which are not just about conqurering, being the best etc., but which are far more subtle. You get civil wars - i have been playing at Japan and though i conquered Korea a while back, it has now just declared independence! The historical nature of it also suits me. It is very cleverly designed - once you start you and the AI just play normally, but the individualised victory conditions and some other tweaks mean that nations do tend to develop in the way they did historically.
So have others tried it? If so, what do you see as the good or bad points? What sucess have you had? Is it possible to win at Emperor?
