Folks, I apologize if this is a stupid question, but is there a way to set up CIV4BTS to autosave? If so, how/ I cannot seem to find an answer.

    thanx

go into the folder where bts is installed, and change the civ4config file (that is actually the name of the short cut in that folder to the file). There is an entry that changes the amount of autosaves that will be saved and another entry that alters the interval between auto saves. Personally I take an autosave every turn of the game and keep them all if I want to check anything out when I've finished.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

The default autosave is every 5th turn in a cycle of 5 (e.g. after 5 saves, the first one will be overwritten except the very first one at 4000 B.C.). Note that the save is in the beginning of each turn so if you do a lot, you might want to save manually before end of turn.

If you want more frequent autosaves (or to keep more) just edit the .ini file.
Now if you want an EOT auto-save you'll need a mod. I know the Civ Fanatics HOF mod includes it and it's a collection of other mods so there should be a mod with just the EOT auto-save somewhere.
