Help Request - Username Not Found In Multiplayer

Hi! How are you all? Greetings from Finland. The username I have on Gamespy Arcade cannot be found in-game multiplayer log in and I can't play multiplayer. Can you help me?

You have to make a new name to work in civ, it isn;t connect to GS arcade at all, it is a separate system.

Deduced from that 'create a new account' opens Gamespy Arcade's log in page, it is the same system.

I confused things. I really tried to make a new account but it rejected my username 'teemuruskeep'. Now, for some reason, it worked and I got into the lobby.
