Custom games start in year 1897.

    Custom games start in year 1897.

    When I try to play a custom game in BTS, it starts in the year 1897.
    Advanced start is NOT checked.

    I have been playing custom games for a long time in BTS and with the varietas delectat mod with no problems.

    Only thing different is the last couple of days I did play two new mods for the first time: Age of Ice; and RFC 3000.

    Now when I went back to BTS and tried to start at custom game it starts in 1897. Same for the Varietas Delectat mod. Play now games start normally.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    You probably have the Era chosen as something other than ancient - 1897 sounds like Industrial. Advanced Start does not modify your era starting but just determines if you get the A.S. screen or not.
