Quite a relief. I've been worried about them for some time now.

      Lancer, something along these lines?

      Minus the monsters, I hope.

        Civ3

Civ3 is no civ4, but it is still a good game. Given the environment around each ship, I'll take Civ3 in paradise.

I would salvage a rover from a pod, drive over to the hot girl and take her for a ride. Then I'd drive her around in the rover to see the sights.

I'd choose CIV3 with those additions. Who cares if your game isn't the perfect one when you have a stacked, naked blonde around?

It's clear to me that the spaceship with Civ 3 should be circled in light blue as a good place to found your legacy. You can always pick up Civ IV again when the road network connects your crashed spaceship

Tedge, I don't see anything. Is this a chick pic?

That's right. When the guy first started out he was the scout.

Was this when you got the idea of the female settlerette and the male scout?

Kind of. I've been thinking for a while on the life of a real life scout. The only thing I don't like is the degree of control the player has. Beyond a command 'go west' there shouldn't really be any.

Tedge, I can see it now and yes, that's it! That and Civ III would be eminently tolerable.

Ha! You just wish you'd thought of it first!

OK, so I research Doctrine: Mobility, then build a rover.

and research roads asap to the CivIV spaceship. After all, at some point she'll be nagging me and I'll need, uh, 'personal time'

Ahh, but there is a catch! There is always a catch, isn't there?

Your ship can only survive for 2 months before the computer dies. Hence you need to reboot at least once every 2 months. Now choose.
