I usually play Monarch. I'm trying to make the jump to Emperor. I'm pretty sure I have the ability, but, right now, I find the game most fun when I'm winning fairly easily.The undeserving maintain power by promoting hysteria.Comment

Play a regular, ancient start with normal number of civs and then I'll recognize the deity win.

As Fleme, Monarch, noble if with a civ for the first few times, large or huge, low seas, normal number of civs, longest time frame, which I beleive is epic.
The two settler start on diety is crazy. A turn advantage like that is hard to overcome.

Monarch is OK with Agg AI if I just want a quick game. Emperor I've done once and won without any real effort. Monarch OCC is probably the most fun setting (with Normal AI...) because it can be a challenge to kill an AI or two for fun and still win.You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.Comment

I beat Monarch with Agg. AI, fairly easily.
done some self-torturing on Emperor. I tend to hold my ground, but I do so poorly early on that I tend to lose interest before my momentum picks up.Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrstComment

Monarch is most fun for me. I occasionally like to War Monger on Prince but I'm really a builder at heart. As I posted in my other thread I just won my first (and maybe last) game on Emperor (with normal settings!).Comment

Monarch is probably best for me; beyond that and I get in trouble. Prince is the highest level I win >50% of the time at, but Monarch I win fairly frequently.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
