Poorest spot I've ever seen. On the entire continent there are only 6 Sheep resources, 1 Marble, 2 Horses and some seafood around it. No happiness resources whatsoever.

Yeah seriously. There's not even a coastal connection to any other landmasses so you're with yourself all the way to Astronomy, by which point the AI's have already won the game seeing how poor your spot is.

Aggressive AI may pay off, though, in that it will encourage the AI to fight amongst themselves; and no tech brokering will keep the AI from running off too much. Resources are nice, but in a large city they're only a small percentage of the total; and the cap and another city north at least will be decent.
We will see... I may try my hand at this as well, it will be interesting. Certainly not optimal for Tokugawa, but still... interesting

minor thing, but i would have settled my 2nd town next to the other sheep resource, and the third town by the clams. its a lot easier to defend that way, and your food situation loks so bad you don't want to pass up any food specials.Comment
