CivIV newbie.. manual question

Hi,
Finally got CivIV and am having a blast, but need some questionsd answered that should be in the manual; however, the manual is rather basic. I have the gold edition and on the cover of the manual it states "abridged manual; Full manual on Disk 3" well I can't find any manual on Disk 3. Am I missing something? Can someone please direct me to the full manual, before I have to start asking questions in the forums that I'm sure have been aswered 1000 time already

If it is the same manual that came with vanilla civ when it came out in the US, and you have played any version of civ before, you can pretty much forget about it anyways (IMHO).

True.. 99% of he stuff is similier enough to figure out with past knowledge and the civilipedia but I have no clue about how to initiate global votes for resolutions when I'm the head of the AP or UN. There must be a button hiding from me some where. Anyone feel like sharing a little info on the vote process, like how to initiate, how often can I initiate, how often are elections, etc.. thx

You get a popup when a vote is possible - just choose an option. You don't really control much of the process.

UN elections/articles are every 12 turns at marathon speed I believe. Translates to 4 turns at standard.
