Using the new BTS tech in normal games

I seem to remember hearing that this was the case, but I didn't see anything, or remember seeing anything anyway, in the manual about how to do it.

Looking at the tech tree as is, I don't see no stinkin' walkers on it.

How do I go about doing this?

You need to load the next war mod i think..

Yep, the Next War mod gives you the option of playing it as a seperate mod or adding it to a regular game. Don't be surprised to see ridiculous civs with leader's names like Mr Big though. It's not a perfect undertaking by any means.
