Auto-defeat/glory

Hello all.

I have a problem with my Civ4.When i'm playing a custom game, i can only play 10 turns and then i'm instantly defeated or, like i got it one time, i get a time victory immediately.

On the top right it just says '10 turns left' and after those 10, I'm always defeated..

Does anyone have an idea what i must do?

Are you playing a legitimate copy of the game?

yeah, just sorted it out, hace the cd but always use no-cd's so that they won't get damaged. And I'm lazy, hate the cd switching.. But i see i have no option here.
