    Crash at the same year again and again

    I hope this is the correct place to put this...

    Every time I start a new game and play to the year 2080 BC the game just kills itself. When I load the auto-save on that year I automaticly crashes and if I load the save before 2080 BC I can play just fine the next few turns.

    I am playing just a newly patched CIV4 without any expansions. Do you have any idea what is happening or how I can get rid of this problem?

          Tried reinstalling the game? Maybe you had a demo version from earlier that has somehow been "updated" with the game itself? Not sure what year the demo ended, but it was after a 100 turns I think.
