  • Trouble installing BtS

    So I'm running the installer, but it just dies without saying anything after checking Direct X components.

    I think I had a similar problem. Try running Setup from the CD.

    I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

            basically I had to reinstall civ4. The problem I ran into was I couldn't uninstall civ4 until I found out the trick to do it.

            Here's the thread with my problem, post #3 is where I found the solution which links to another thread in civ fanatics, post #12 in that thread is where I found the solution.

              So basically I have to pirate it now I can't find disk 2 of my original install.

              edit: Either that or just suck up the fact that I can onyl play BtS on my desktop.
