    Direct Connect Problem

    Hey, I am trying direct connect. I tihnk my freind (who is hosting) has mad eit so I am talking to his machine, because it says versoin mismatch. I started off with 1.6 and Warlords, but removed my 1.6 because it was noCD, then reinstalled it and updated it, than removed warlords. Since the reinstallation I have been getting version mismatch (Critical game files/yada/yada/yada).

    compltely reinstalled cleanly, removed all previous saves and files, ...? still getting version mismatch

      Maybe your bud's version is the problem.
      It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

        Does he have BTS? Also make sure you deleted your old folders entirely in both My Games and Program Files...

        Other than that, as rah says, it's probably his fault
