Editing BTS Saved Games?

I am currently playing a Beyond the Sword marathon game that started in 4000 BC. I am on turn 1074 and its January 1968 AD. I want to change the end year so that I have enough time to conquer the world. I downloaded Civ4editor to change the end year or my current year, but it won’t open my saved game and gives an error, “System.Exception: Illegal version line "

Does anyone know how I can edit the end year or my current year? If not, do you know what turn # the game ends on?

I believe the editor you're referring to won't work with BtS saves.

The game normally ends in 2050AD, but you can keep playing afterwards. A hint: try starting a custom game instead and disable Time victory - it will remove the limit completely.
