Regarding early Stonehenge, basically it's a good way to acquire the Creative-trait border expansion benefits without having a Creative leader.

I like the creative trait because I know if I found a new city or take an enemy one, my borders will expand faster. But Financial and Industrial are also useful to have, so Stonehenge allows you to get the creative benefit without using up one of your leader traits.

In reference to the above screenshot, I hope you have reduced research as much as possible to get a fat cash bonus before ending the turn...

extra science carries over, so that's not an issue, and since he's filthy rich I dont think a few extra bucks are that necessary compared to getting ahead techwise.

Youre right but that cash bonus could become important when he expands much earlier than usual.

Since extra science carries over, like LzPrst (Lazy Priest? :P) said, reducing the percentage wouldn't affect research on the current tech, but it would hurt him on the next one.
