Instead of just listing the highest culture cities, the victory screen might also show (in parenthesis?) the required value. In my latest mp game, three of us underwent an epic struggle to take down the world juggernaut, whose cultural victory we thought imminent; in actuality, he was only a sixth of the way there.

150,000 culture for huge/marathon. Fortunately Hattie has only 1 already there. First time I've ever seen it happen; this is with Solver's UnOfficial patch.

Perhaps I'll win with UN or space race.
