Advanced start

Did anyone use this yet? I just tried it and I am not really impressed. I spent most of the money on techs and created 4 cities and a few units. I couldn't get buildings in the city. I suppose that is a bug

All the other civs created a lot of cities (no techs) and thus occupy most of my continent. researching a new tech is 53 turns....so what is the point of having all the earlier techs.

I will just keep playing the normal epic games...

Try advanced start on Ancient.

Yes, I always use it with ancient starts.

Allos you to get 1-3 cities a core of units and/or some starting techs before you really start the game. Always reminds me of the character creation in RPGs with a selection of attributes of your choice.
