In my current game (fractal, normal, 10 civs) I have conquered my continent (1/3 of the map) I had a defensive pact with Ramesses. He also had a defensive pact with Qin Shi Huang. Eventually Ramesses signed a perm alliance with Qin and also broke our defensive pact on the same turn. I thought it had to do with the signing of the perm allaince although I didn't really care since I was about to declare war on Mehmed. I then looked at the foreign advisor and found that Ramesses had a defensive pact with Mehmed (luckily I can just declare war on Alexander who Mehmed also defensive pact with). So, why did Ramesses break his defensive pact with me, but not Mehmed.
