  • Perm alliances

In my current game (fractal, normal, 10 civs) I have conquered my continent (1/3 of the map) I had a defensive pact with Ramesses. He also had a defensive pact with Qin Shi Huang. Eventually Ramesses signed a perm alliance with Qin and also broke our defensive pact on the same turn. I thought it had to do with the signing of the perm allaince although I didn't really care since I was about to declare war on Mehmed. I then looked at the foreign advisor and found that Ramesses had a defensive pact with Mehmed (luckily I can just declare war on Alexander who Mehmed also defensive pact with). So, why did Ramesses break his defensive pact with me, but not Mehmed.

Perhaps he chose to break your defensive pact?

I found out that Qin had the defensive pact with Mehmed so Ramesses got it when the perm alliance the signed. So why didn't I get one with Qin?
